On July 29, more than 200 persons including university leaders, teachers and founders of information-based education from all over the country came to Guiyang to attend the 23rd Annual Conference of the Foreign Language Committee of China Association of Educational Technology, discussing the opportunities and challenges faced by the informatization of foreign languages.
At the conference, Director Wang Junjing, Secretary General of the Foreign Language Committee, announced the good news that the national standard, Digital Language Learning Environment Design Specification will be published soon. Beijing NewClass Digital Technology Co., Ltd., one of the drafters of the national standard Digital Language Learning Environment Design Specification, delivered a speech as the first enterprise representative. Li Xia, Deputy General Manager of NewClass, explained the impact of technology on language education in colleges and universities under the title of 'language laboratory construction for the future'.
At the annual conference, NewClass set up a demonstration environment on site, demonstrating the latest NewClass cloud language laboratory, and exhibiting the simultaneous interpreting training system and wireless mobile solutions.
During the annual conference, the NewClass simultaneous interpreting training system and NewClass cloud digital language learning system were certified by a 10-member expert panel organized by the Foreign Language Committee of China Association of Educational Technology, and were recommended to be popularized for use.
