On the afternoon of March 31st, the 2024 China Translation Association Annual Conference came to a successful conclusion, which was guided by China Foreign Languages Bureau, Publicity Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Hunan Provincial Department of Education, and hosted by China Translation Association, Translation Institute of China Foreign Languages Bureau, and Hunan Normal University. Beijing NewClass Digital Technology Co., Ltd. participated in this annual meeting and hosted the “New Era Translation Technology Innovation Development Forum”.
During the annual conference, the "Innovation and Development Forum on Translation Technology in the New Era," organized by the Translation Technology Committee of the China Translators Association and the Intelligent Translation Laboratory of the Translation Institute of the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and hosted by NewClass among others, was held successfully. Over 200 experts and scholars from translation practice, technology research and development, and translation education attended the forum in person, with nearly 20,000 viewers watching the live broadcast online.
In his speech titled "New Ecology of Translation Teaching in NewClass Classrooms", Dong Liang, General Manager of NewClass, presented application cases of NewClass Simultaneous Interpreting Training System, intelligent language teaching environments, and the latest product Mobile Teaching Space built by NewClass Hub. He introduced the NewClass translation teaching new ecology and its specific measures for creating smart training scenarios such as remote synchronous simultaneous interpreting classrooms, remote cloud-based classrooms, and remote simultaneous interpreting teaching. He emphasized that the NewClass translation teaching new ecology can achieve a comprehensive smart teaching scenario from classroom interaction to inter-school interaction, regional synchronization to international synchronization, and foreign language training to interdisciplinary integration.
