From November 19 to 20, guided by China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and sponsored by Translators Association of China, the Language Services: Innovation and Development in Commemoration of 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up and the TAC Conference 2018, was held in Beijing. The conference was held in the form of the main venue and a number of special forums on different topics. During the conference, the highest award in the field of China’s translation, the Lifetime Achievement Award in Translation Culture, was awarded to “senior translators”, and the Requirements for Translation & Interpretation Services and General Technical Specifications for Corpus were issued.
