From November 15-17, during the 62nd China Higher Education Expo, Beijing NewClass Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its "Smart Classroom" solutions at the Central Hall.

Dongfang Zhenglong’s Full-Stack Intelligent Products Empowering Digital Teaching 

At this year's expo, NewClass presented three distinct exhibition areas: the NewClass Hub 4-in-1 Multifunctional Smart Classroom, NewClass Professional Remote Simultaneous Interpreting Classroom, and the NewClass Professional Language Laboratory. The three areas were interconnected via a private cloud deployment of the NewClass Remote Teaching System, demonstrating an interactive classroom experience for both online and offline students.

In the “NewClass Hub 4-in-1 Multifunctional Smart Classroom” area, a flexible multimedia classroom was simulated with movable desks and chairs. Each large round table was made up of six student desks, each equipped with a student laptop. A single NewClass Hub on the teacher’s desk allowed the multimedia classroom to instantly transform into a smart classroom. Visitors sat down to try out features like free speech and screen sharing between the teacher’s computer, the large screen, and student laptops, as well as AI-powered translation, self-recording, and intelligent management.

In the “NewClass Professional Remote Simultaneous Interpreting Classroom” area, many teachers recognized classrooms from their own institutions in the 2024 case study collection displayed. They tried using the gooseneck microphones and experienced the hybrid online-offline simultaneous interpreting class teaching on the NewClass touch-integrated terminal. Various application scenarios such as simultaneous interpreting, translation teaching and interactive visual language teaching were explored.

In the “NewClass Professional Language Laboratory” area, an immersive digital classroom experience was offered, facilitating audio-video courseware interaction and visual teaching. The teacher’s desk also had a NewClass Hub that seamlessly adapted to Windows, macOS, Android, and other operating systems.

Exciting Activities During NewClass Exhibition

NewClass participated in several activities during the expo. The Technical Exchange Session titled “Pioneering the Future: Key Achievements and Technology Exchange” introduced new products such as the NewClass Hub 4-in-1 Multifunctional Smart Classroom. A Live Streaming Event titled “Cloud Expo Tour—Unlimited C-position” was also held, where the host visited the booth and gave an online tour of the NewClass full-stack intelligent teaching products.

The three-day expo attracted a large number of visitors who engaged in hands-on experiences and interactive discussions.
